2007 Peugeot 207 GT

Peugeot announced the newest addition to the exciting 207 range, the 207 GT 1.6 Turbo. This 207 GT 1.6 Turbo is the first model in the 207 range to be fitted with one of the Peugeot / BMW developed 1.6 petrol engines.

The engine in the 207 GT 1.6 Turbo is the 1.6-liter turbocharged direct injection petrol engine, producing 150 bhp at 5800 rpm and 180 lb-ft of torque at only 1400 rpm.

Available as a 3 door model and in GT trim only, the 207 GT 1.6 Turbo will have a comprehensive specification including: six airbags, ABS, EBFD, EBA, ESP, tire pressure sensors, two Isofix three-point rear child seat mountings, electric windows, Thatcham class 1 alarm / deadlocks, automatic static directional headlamps and wipers, dual zone climate control air conditioning, panoramic “Cielo” glass roof with sunblind, 17” alloy wheels, steering column adjustable for reach and rake, height adjustable driver and passenger seats and half leather trim.

Not since the legendary Peugeot 205 T16 has Peugeot produced a petrol turbo charged supermini, but the story does not stop here, as next year will see the launch of a more powerful turbo charged 207.
